HOW IT WORKS

Initial Consultation:

Expect to meet with an in-house design specialist to determine design, technical and financial requirements. Once a sufficient level of understanding is achieved a ‘no obligation’ proposal of a rendered design concept and quotation will be presented.

Design:

In order to proceed to a detailed design a Kitchen Design Fee of $1000+gst will be issued.

Upon payment of this fee our designers will translate your initial concept into a detailed design package that includes technical drawings showing elevations, dimensions, appliance placements, internal structure, mechanisms, bench tops, finishes and any other required detail. The design fee will cover up to 3 x variations of your kitchen design. Additional variations will then be charged at an hourly rate of $100+gst per hour.

For additional joinery such as; wardrobes, media, storage and vanities the design work will also be charged at an hourly rate of $100+gst per hour.

Production:

Once a detailed design and finalized quotation has been accepted your bespoke joinery design is then ready to be sent to the Italian factory for manufacturing. Unico will issue an invoice for a 50% deposit and as soon as this payment is received production will proceed.

Time Frame:

Production can take up to 8 weeks and shipping is a variable that entails further time. The ETA of your kitchen will be discussed prior. As soon as your joinery package arrives in New Zealand the remaining 50% invoice will be issued for payment and on receipt of payment joinery will be dispatched and delivered as per your specific delivery instructions.

Installation:

We recommend budgeting approximate 10% of your total joinery package for cost of installation (depending on the complexity of your joinery). Unico can take care of the installation and / or is at your disposal to meet with client, builder or architect during the entire process to ensure every detail is covered accurately and efficiently to match specifications.
